Programmes

The company works with producers and directors who have extensive experience of filming worldwide, and a commitment to popular programming.

Series Three of our children’s documentary show Rooted began transmission in January 2006 on Five TV in the UK. The series takes children from Britain to the countries of their families’ origin to experience the differences in life and culture at first hand. Rooted Series 2 was first broadcast in 2004, and Series 1 in 2002. Rooted was short-listed for a BAFTA Children’s Award (Best Factual Programme) in November 2005 and a Broadcast Award (Best Children’s Programme) in January 2005.

In February 2005, our 30-minute arts documentary Tree of Guns filmed in Mozambique and London was broadcast on BBC4. Find out more here.

In 2001 we produced the 13-part food and travel series, Takeaway filmed in 13 countries worldwide for Carlton Digital Networks. More here.

Other programmes include:

Drop the Debt, in collaboration with Initial, a one-minute film for the Brit Awards (ITV, 1999), featuring Jarvis Cocker, The Prodigy and David Bowie and introduced by Bono from U2, to raise the issue of Third World Debt. Watch the video here.

Volcano Stories, a series made in association with BBC North (BBC2, 1997), filmed after the eruption of Soufrière Hills Volcano on Monserrat.
